This is a great casserole that is prepared the night before. Great breakfast for dinner option too!
Ingredients
18-20 slices white bread
1/2 stick butter
1 lb sausage, browned and drained
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
8 eggs
1 pint half & half
Start Preparing
- Spray a 13×9 baking dish; layer bread in dish.
- Chunk butter over bread and then top with cooked sausage. Put cheese on top.
- In bowl, whisk eggs and half & half.
- Pour mixture over bread.
- Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours, or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Bake casserole for 40-50 minutes or until top is golden brown.
